The Downland village of Slindon has attracted an exceptional concentration of both established and emerging artists and craft-makers. On the weekend of June 22nd/23rd, there will be a special exhibition of their work in the 900 year old church of St Mary’s. Pieces will include sculpture, jewellery, paintings, photography, woodworking and more.
St Mary’s will also be offering teas and homemade cakes to visitors. Admission is free between 10.00am and 4.00pm both days.
Slindon is a well-known local destination for lovers of countryside, walkers and cyclists throughout the year. The village is well served by National Trust information, car parks and the award winning Forge Cafe and Community Shop.
